Prototype 2 turned out much better than many people thought it would. It possesses a great story line; a character that you feel connected with, and improved gameplay. With all these great features combined, this could very well be the best sandbox game currently available. Your character, Sgt James Heller, has the ability to shape-shift and is after the person he holds responsible for the death of his family. As Sergeant James Heller, you must find the man who developed a deadly virus that killed your family, and return the favor. But there is a twist. The target of your vengeance is no other than Alex Mercer.
Having the protagonist from the first game as the antagonist for Prototype 2 gives it a nice twist. You will have to complete missions in different areas of the New York Zoo, which has areas that are covered with viral infection, in order to find Mercer. Once Heller consumes a person, he can take their identity, as well as read their memories. With Heller’s powers, you can fly, leap and climb around the city.
Combat in this game never gets boring, and as you progress, you will have to use new tactics to take down the bosses you encounter. Sneak into enemy camps, turn Soldiers into biological bombs. The abilities you can learn are insane. It is very easy to see how this game earned a rating of 18 once you play it.
