Sonic Dash has the blue hedgehog dodging obstacles and running as fast as he possibly can. Collect items on your journey, unlock other playable characters, and see if you can beat your best score. Do you think you have got the reflexes for this fast-paced game? The idea behind Sonic Dash is similar to other runner games like Subway Surfer and Temple Run.
Sonic will run forward as fast as he can while you guide him past various obstacles. You can collect several power ups along the way, such as magnets that pull in coins for you, speed ups and extra lives. You can unlock other playable characters by collecting red rings, or by making in-app purchases.
Sonic Dash provides you with fun gameplay. However, the game is really no different from Temple Run and there is little innovation present in terms of unique features and game modes. The game does give you the classic Sonic feel as you play, though. Touch controls Sonic, swipe left or right to move in that direction, or key combinations, depending on the device you are playing on. While there may be little innovation present, if you are a Sonic fan, or an endless runner game fan, you will like Sonic Dash.
